JOCAVI®’s Mellowaffle® has been designed to be suspended in large areas in order to eliminate echoes and reduce the reverberation time. It also controls and reduces problems caused by airborne noise. This is the product recommended for large rooms, big studios, gymnasiums, pools, factories, warehouses, shopping and industrial centres, machine or engine rooms where airborne noise is a concern. Mellowaffle® has two absorbing sides which are different from one another.

Due to the large exposed area, its absorption coefficient is quite high. It is applied by suspension from a steel cable and is directly fixed to the building structure or masonry with the appropriate accessories. This acoustic panel is made of mineral fibre of two different compositions. Besides the mentioned acoustic characteristics, this product is highly resistant to abrasion and fire (class M1). It is an excellent alternative to the use of foams. When set on fire, it releases a very low quantity of smoke. It is easy to clean, when necessary, with a vacuum cleaner. Its durability is high. It has good resistance to humidity and is, therefore, also advisable for pools. It is available in 12 colours.
